Organizing things makes me feel good. I spent 2 hours this evening going through this gigantic pile of bills and other random things and filing them away. There's a nice piece of carpet that was hidden for months under this huge stack that is finally getting a chance to breathe again.
I love order. It just makes me happy. Most of the time my life feels extremely busy and chaotic, so it's nice to have some measure of control over my surroundings. I will never be the most organized person in the world, but I still highly enjoy coming up with interesting organizational schemes. It feeds my obsession.

Good job! My project for this weekend = closets. Not looking forward to it.
Oh I am so the same way! My roommate in college used to tease me that I spent more time organizing and making lists to do things than actually doing them. And I have to admit, I put things on lists that I've already done so I can check them off.
i totally feel you.
OMG. I am suffocating in my house right now with all of the disorganization. I cannot wait to have some order back in my life!
same here. the sense of accomplishment i get when i finally get my office desk cleared off and all the bills filed away is huge. :)
I *try* to be organized, but it doesn't always happen. So, if you want some more piles of stuff to organize, come on over! :)
Organization rocks. I love it. LOVE.
I guess this explains why I am a librarian. :)
It takes me forever to get motivated, but I love the result. God job. :)
