Suddenly I See

twenty years' worth of glasses - $1000 (+ insurance costs)

several pairs of soft contact lenses - $500 (+ insurance costs)

medicine for infections due to soft contact lenses - $50 (+ insurance costs)

co-pay for prescription eye drops for Lasik - $15

Lasik surgery - $3,800

finding out you have 20/15 vision after twenty years of wearing corrective lenses - priceless

Yay! Isn't it wonderful to be able to see! I know that Lasik was the best thing that I ever did. It is amazing to wake up in the morning and see. I no longer mistake my kitty for a pile of clothes on the floor, LOL. It is almost like seeing the world for the first time.

Woohoo! Few things are more awesome! Can't wait to see you again in the future, and can't wait for you to see me without your glasses!
